This season in the Forest

What's happening in the food forest at the moment? Whilst most things have died back for the winter the globe artichokes are starting to getting ready for spring. One, in a sheltered corner, already has globes on it. Also starting to appear are some self seed broad beans. Whilst most of the forest is quiet we are on a mission to drive back the grass (again!) before it goes nuts in the warmer weather (again!). One day hopefully the forest will control the grass issue itself, until then the weed whacker is my best friend.
